Immediate use of antiseptic cream (Savlon) on the cupping sites, though cream is better as an option.
What Is Your Recommendation Regarding Use Of Olive Oil After Treatment?
Strictly avoid using extra-virgin olive oil on the cupping sites. Just stick to antiseptic cream (Savlon) for the first 24 hours after treatment.
What Is Honeyed Water For?
It is part of my complementary aftercare. Honey in a solution restores your body’s electrolytes after WCT and facilitates healing.
Where Are The Cups Typically Placed On The Body
They are usually placed on the site of pathology (complaint/issue). The upper back is one of the common sites, but this differs between people.
How Many Cups Do You Apply?
A minimum of 8 cups is typically used. Depending on the case, I may use a few additional cups at my discretion.
Where Are The Superficial Cuts Usually Made?
Superficial cuts (scratches) are made within the suction site circles, usually about 7-10 cuts in one cupping site.
What Are The Cuts Like?
The cuts are light and superficial, resembling small scratches or nicks.
How Long And Deep Will Be The Fine Superficial Cuts/Incisions?
The cuts are typically around 1-3 mm in length and about 0.1 mm in depth.

Yes, WCT can be used as a treatment for anaemia, dependent on the type of anaemia.
What Kind Of Anaemia Can It Not Be Used For?
WCT is a strict no for one specific kind of anaemia called sickle cell anaemia, since it may cause sickle cell crisis.
Does WCT Involve Scarification?
No, despite claims on platforms like Wikipedia, wet cupping therapy typically does not involve scarification. The cuts are superficial and heal easily without leaving scars.
What If I Am Scarred?
That is highly unlikely. Some cuts may take longer than expected in some individuals to heal completely.
What Are Reasons For Cuts To Scarify Or Take Longer To Heal?
Possible reasons include: Improper aftercare, lack thereof, diabetes, nutritional deficiency, use of Hirudoid cream on cuts or old age.
Are The Skin Scratches Painful And Permanent?
Be rest assured that the skin scratches will be tiny, superficial, and only mildly uncomfortable and usually disappear without scarification.
Is There Any Aftercare Product I Should Definitely Avoid Applying On My Cupping Sites?
Yes. Absolutely avoid olive oil, Hirudoid cream and any product not advised for open wounds/cuts.
What Does Hirudoid Cream Do To The Superficial Cuts (Scratches)?
It can disrupt the natural healing of the superficial cuts and cause semi-permanent pigmentation scars.
Does The Skin Become Bruised During Cupping?
Yes, false bruising marks (ecchymosis/reactive hyperemia) are expected at the suction sites during and after treatment, leading to temporary discoloration.
When Will The Bruising Disappear?
It usually takes 3-7 days.

It’s best to avoid putting pressure on the cupping sites to prevent discomfort. For instance, if your back was cupped, sleep on your side instead.
Is There A Risk Of Fainting?
Yes, fainting can occur if you have low blood pressure or are overly anxious or excited. Do disclose your medical history on the consent form.
Can You Deal With Fainting Episodes?
Absolutely. I’m well-prepared and equipped to manage a fainting episode if it happens.
Do Superficial Cuts On The Cupping Sites Ooze Blood On The Clothes?
This is unlikely unless you continuously apply pressure on the cupped areas in the next 24 hours following treatment.
How Much Blood Could Ooze Out?
Very minimal—just enough to create a small splotch or two, which might even be easy to miss.
What To Do With Possible Blood Splotch/Oooze On Clothes Post Session?
Use a high-quality enzyme-based washing powder. That should be enough to remove any traces.
How Do The Cupping Sites Feel?
They feel like small circular bumps, which typically recede to the normal skin level within a day or two.
What Does Darker Colouration On Some Cupping Sites Mean?
Darker coloration usually indicates more extravascular blood in that area, potentially pointing to higher toxin levels and/or microvascular ischemia.
How Often Will I Need To Come In During The Year?
It varies from person to person. Some may only need one session a year, while others might require multiple sessions depending on the issue.
Can I Come In If I Have A Fever?
No. If you currently have a fever, you must wait until fully recovered before getting WCT done. This is to ensure everyone’s safety.
Is The Procedure Painful/Does It Hurt?
No. While there might be mild discomfort in some individuals, it’s minimal and generally well-tolerated.
Does It Hurt Like Tattooing?
No. The discomfort in WCT is either similar or much milder and shorter lived.
Is There Any Similarity Between Tattooing And WCT?
Only a basic similarity—both involve skin penetration, but WCT is not invasive. Additionally, WCT marks and cuts are temporary, tattoos are permanent.
Is There Any Similarity Between WCT And Body Piercing?
Not really. WCT doesn’t involve deep skin penetration, nor does it come with risks like piercing migration, rejection, or scarring.
How Would I Feel During The Procedure?
The relaxing nature of WCT often makes clients feel calm and even sleepy. The overall experience tends to be very positive.
Will There Be Itchiness Afterwards?
Some mild itchiness may occur within the first day or so. I recommend using antiseptic cream for the first 1-3 days post-treatment.
Do I Need To Be Vaccinated Beforehand?
No. There are no vaccinations required for WCT.
Do I Need To Wait If I Have Been Vaccinated Recently?
No. In fact, WCT may help with any kind of post-vaccination illness syndrome.
Are You Anti-Vax?
I am not anti-vax and gently encourage people to make informed decisions about their health.
Is WCT A Form Of Bloodletting Like Phlebotomy (Venesection)?
WCT involves skin scratching on the upper most layer of the skin (epidermis). Phlebotomy involves inserting long blades or needles to get vascular blood out.
Do I Have To Take Off Both Shirt And Pants During WCT?
It depends; this will be discussed during the consultation. Bring shorts along if you have issues in the lower body.
Do You Cut The Nerves?
No. The blade only lightly scratches the uppermost layer of the skin i.e. epidermis. Microcapillaries and nerves are not touched.
Are You With Bupa?
I am not affiliated with any health insurance provider.
In What Manner Should I Apply Moisturising Oils Or Antiseptc Spray/Cream On The Cupping Sites?
Apply gently—avoid aggressive rubbing.
Is The Procedure Aseptic?
Yes, routine aseptic measures are followed throughout the procedure.
Are You Removing Valuable Blood From The Body?
No, the blood removed during cupping is not part of your circulation. It’s extravascular, functionless, and actually harmful.
Are There Any Side Effects?
There are a few possible side effects e.g. healing crisis, that are unlikely to occur. These are generally short-lived and well tolerated.
What Side Effects Could Occur?
They include: Healing crisis (toxemia), discomfort, asthenia (weakness), lethargy, occasional blistering and the very rare fainting episode could occur.
Is The Bruising Bluish Black?
No. There is a distinct difference between bona fide bruising and cupping-induced false bruising.
What Are Blisters?
Fluid-filled sacs that form under the skin when the skin is undergoes prolonged stress or is damaged. Prolonged stress is what causes blisters in WCT.
Should I Expect Blisters?
No.
What Causes Blisters?
Three common causes: Heat stress in client before coming in, sometimes the use of isopropanol as an anti-septic and leaving cups on for too long.
What Should I Do If There Is Blistering?
Don’t pop them unless they are dark-coloured and/or hurting. Let them be absorbed back into the skin and regularly apply antiseptic cream on them daily.
Have There Ever Been Any Long-Term Or Serious Side Effects Related To WCT?
Serious complications (e.g. septic arthritis, infections) are extremely rare and usually occur overseas due to poor hygiene practices by untrained practitioners.
Should I Provide You My Medical Report?
Yes, it’s helpful if you can share your medical report so I can impart the best advice.
Do You Provide Advice On Nutrition?
No, but you’re free to consult verified sources and nutrition experts.
What’s The Difference Between Wet Cupping and Dry Cupping?
Wet cupping involves skin penetration and the removal of static extravascular blood while dry cupping does not involve skin penetration or any blood removal.
Is Wet Cupping Therapy Better?
Wet cupping therapy is a better therapy since it combines the benefits of dry cupping with the additional removal of toxins and static extravascular blood.
Does Dry Cupping Remove Toxins From The Body?
Dry cupping does not remove old red blood cells, toxins and other causative pathological substances from the body.
Does WCT Remove Whole Blood?
No. WCT does not remove whole blood like blood donation does. It removes a mix of blood components, including old red blood cells and toxins.
How Many Wet Cupping Sessions Are Needed For Results to Show?
It varies, for some people the results are instantaneous while for others, there may be a need for more sessions to resolve certain health problems.
How Do I Know When To Come Next?
I will discuss the outlook for subsequent treatments and advise you on future sessions after your first treatment. Come again if you still have the issue.
Do You Practice WCT Alongside Other Alternative Therapies?
No, I exclusively practice wet cupping therapy.
Is WCT Related To Acupuncture?
No, WCT is not related to acupuncture, as it does not involve using fine needles to stimulate the central nervous system.
Is WCT Related To Other Alternative Therapies?
WCT is a standalone therapy, unrelated to other alternative & complementary medicine modalities.
Is WCT A Form Of Alternative Medicine?
Yes, it is currently associated with alternative medicine, integrative medicine, complementary medicine, and traditional therapies.
Is WCT A Part Of Allopathic (Modern Conventional) Medicine?
I believe WCT branched off from allopathic medicine as did other some other genuine traditional therapies, and I hope the two can eventually be reunited.
Do You Place Cups Over Acupuncture Points?
I place cups over sites of pathology and areas of biomedical significance, not specifically acupuncture points.
What if I Want To Do Acupuncture Instead?
You are welcome to do so. I recommend you get WCT done later in the area you had your acupuncture done, especially if it’s inflamed.
Do You Use Traditional Style Cups?
I use modern plastic cups. I don’t use traditional cups made of bamboo, glass, horn, or metal.
Can You Skip Any Step?
Certain countries like China, Korea, and Germany deploy a two-step approach where the initial step of cupping before applying cuts is skipped.
Could You Use This Two-Step Approach?
No. I do not follow the two-step approach and always perform the three essential steps (Triple S Technique). Every step of the procedure is necessary.
Some Critics Say Wet Cupping Draws Out Unspecified Toxins.
Many studies mentioned specific toxins that are removed during WCT. Claims to the contrary are often mere conjecture.
Do You Have Pre-Set Treatment Plan?
The treatment plan is customised and mutually agreed upon during the consultation.
Is The Procedure Clean and Hygienic?
Yes. All cups and blades are brand new, sterile, and used only once before being properly disposed of.
Is The Set Up Safe?
The clinical setup adheres to OH&S regulations and is registered with the Ballarat City Council.
Can I Bring In My Own Cups/Blades?
No. For hygiene purposes, I only use my own cups and blades, which are sterile and in ample supply.
When Should Wet Cupping Be Done?
It should be done whenever needed. I recommend trying a session at least once, as many people have underlying health issues.
Will Photos/Videos Be Taken During the Session?
Only if you check and sign ‘yes’ on the consent form. Either or both of photos/videos may be taken during the session.
Where Will You Post Photos/Videos?

Is The Session Private?
Yes. My clinic is a private environment that ensures privacy and confidentiality.
What Do You Mention On Your Blog?
I share my ideas, scientific insights, and thoughts on publications and anonymised case studies.
How Long Does A Session Usually Last?
Usually lasts 40 minutes.
Do You Charge Extra If The Session Taker Longer?
No. I do not charge extra, no matter how long the session takes. However, most sessions are unlikely to extend beyond the 1 hour mark.
Do I Need A GP Referral?
No, you do not. However, during the consultation, I will let you know if you need a GP clearance before proceeding with treatment.
When Is GP Clearance Required?
If during consultation, I cannot determine with certainty the safety of the procedure for an unusual ailment, I will ask you to get GP clearance.
How Likely Is It That I will Need A GP Clearance?
Not likely in my experience.
Do You Offer Any Other Services?
I only provide wet cupping therapy as a service. I do not offer other services like massage, colonic irrigation or dry cupping.
Do You Recommend Other Services/Therapies For Disease Resolution?
I believe there is limited benefit in therapies that do not involve actual toxin removal e.g., chiropractor, remedial massage (so-called), acupuncture, and dry cupping.
What Is Your Opinion On Cold Showers/Cold Water Swims?
Despite claims of endorphin release, I don’t believe the benefits of cold showers compare much with the actual toxin removal benefits of WCT.
Is There Any Contraindication For Which I Can Pre-emptively Get GP Clearance?
Yes. You can pre-emptively get GP clearance if you have low blood pressure.
Do You Draw Out A Lot Of Blood Or A Little
Blood quantity depends on how much there is in the tissue spaces targeted, if you followed pre-arrival guidelines and blood ‘wanting’ to come out.
Is There A Way To Therapeutically Draw Out More Blood Out Of The Body Before Wet Cupping Therapy?
Possibly, yes. If a person undergoes colonic (senna) purge and then comes in for a session 7 days later, the blood-let-out can be more.
Is There A Way To Make Wet Cupping Therapy More Effective?
For people with skin disorders, spinal disc issues, or pelvic congestion, it is recommended to undergo a colonic senna purge a week before the session.
How To Do A Senna Purge?
Details are provided in Chapter II of ‘The Problem In Detail: Science Explained’.
Should I Expect Any Adverse Reactions?
Some clients may experience a normal reaction post-treatment known as a ‘healing crisis’ or ‘healing reaction’
What Is A Healing Crisis?
A healing crisis is a temporary worsening of symptoms that may occur as the body starts getting used to the removal of toxins.
Am I Likely To Experience A Healing Crisis?
Short answer, no. While most people feel rejuvenated soon after treatment, some may experience discomfort for 1-4 days before improving.
Are There Forbidden Points For WCT?
Yes, this includes most of the abdomen, axillae (armpits), wrists, eyes, throat, private parts, and the “memory point”. Pregnant should almost never be cupped!
Can I Drive After Treatment?
Yes, there are no issues with driving post-treatment.
I Am Scared? What If I Go Crook?
The procedure is safe, and I am a trained and certified therapist. However, I may refuse to treat a client who is overly nervous.
What If I Am Shy About Being Shirtless As A Male?
That’s understandable. I respect your comfort and tend to look away while male clients take off their tops and lie on the treatment table.
To What Extent Do I Have To Undress Before A Session?
It’s usually just the top. If WCT is needed on the lower body like the thighs, you will be in your shorts.
What If I Am Embarrassed To Declare My Physical Ailment?
I encourage clients to disclose all relevant issues for the best treatment options. Confidentiality is guaranteed for all health matters, even sensitive ones.
Can I Work the Day After Treatment?
As long as your work doesn’t involve strenuous activity or cause excessive sweating, you should be fine. Just avoid tasks that would make you sweat.
Why Do I Need To Fast From Eating For At Least 3 Hours Before Arrival?
Eating too close to the session could cause nausea during treatment. Food also pre-emptively creates a ‘steal’ of the circulation towards the stomach.
What Is The Big Deal With Food Causing A Steal Of The Circulation Towards The Stomach?
The ‘steal’ in layman terms prevents blood from coming out. So the benefits of the session are minimised, which is less value for your money.
Is WCT Suitable For Athletes?
Yes. WCT is highly recommended for athletes as it can aid in muscle recovery and improve athletic performance.
Can WCT Help With Mental Health Issues?
It may help reduce stress and anxiety, thereby promoting overall mental well-being, as an adjuvant therapy. Seeking professional psycho-clinical care is strongly advised.
Can WCT Aid In Weight Loss?
It may support weight loss by improving metabolism and detoxification. I highly recommend using senna tea once a month to purge the colon.
Can WCT Help With Skin Conditions?
Yes, it may improve conditions like eczema and acne by removing toxins and defective
red blood cells, from the body.
Is WCT Effective For Detoxification?
Yes, it’s the only clinical procedure available in modern times that allows manual removal of toxins from blood and tissues.
What About Patients Scheduled For Amputation Of A Diabetic Leg Or Diabetic Foot?
This is an emergency I can assist with. There’s a reasonable likelihood of reversing the surgeon’s decision to amputate if you go through my procedure.
What Other Emergencies Can You Help With?
I can help those scheduled for heart surgery due to myocardial ischemia. Contact me if you have an emergency the hospital/doctors couldn’t help you with.
I Don’t Want To Spend Money.
Investing in your health is never an expense—it’s an investment that pays off in the long run.
But Why WCT For Better Health In The Long Run?
WCT when used pre-emptively as a preventative measure preserves health and well-being, thus saving time, money and unnecessary suffering in the long run.
My Mind Is On Some Other Problems In Life.
Every problem in life is a big issue, until you get a health issue. Then there is no other issue in your life except that one health issue.
What Kinds Of Problems Could I Face In The Future?
Without WCT as a preventative measure, a range of serious issues could arise, including chronic illnesses, potential organ damage, or even the loss of limbs.
I Feel Fine At The Moment.
The presence and buildup of toxic substances in the body is a well-documented fact, worldwide. Prevention is always better than cure, and prophylaxis beats treatment.
Should I Get Wet Cupping Therapy Done Even If There Is Nothing Wrong With Me?
Health crises can arise unexpectedly. Many people have underlying conditions or latent morbidities, so it’s wise to undergo WCT once a year for holistic well-being.
Do You Promise To Cure People?
I do not promise a cure, but in my experience and historically speaking, wet cupping therapy has always shown promising results.
Can WCT Prevent Illnesses?
It can, and I highly recommend it as a strong potential prophylactic measure (to prevent illnesses). Prophylaxis is a preventative measure against illness.
Could You Give Wet Cupping Therapy An Analogy (Part I)?
The body has a landfill site where it dumps defective red blood cells and toxins. Overtime, toxic waste accumulation results in many health issues.
Can You Give Another Analogy (Part II)
Think of your ‘blood-rich’ body throwing away red blood cells to solve toxic problems like some rich dude throwing money at a problem to solve it.
Can You Give Yet Another Analogy (Part III)
Your blood cells are like your car’s engine oil, they need servicing once a year, possibly more.
Can WCT be combined with other treatments?
Yes, it can complement other medicinal treatments. Consult me for personalised advise.
Can WCT Be Used As An Adjuvant Therapy (Combined With Other Treatments)?
Yes, especially when combined with treatments like chemotherapy. For example, cancer patients can benefit from WCT before starting chemotherapy.
Should I Get WCT Done If I’m Getting Another Medical Treatment Done?
Yes. Definitely do both as WCT will improve the outcome of the other medical treatment you’re getting. Discuss with me during the consultation.
Is WCT Good For Cancer Patients?
Yes, WCT is strongly recommended for cancer patients and for those undergoing chemotherapy, unless they are in the terminal stages.
Does WCT Need To Be Done Alongside Other Therapies?
For some people, WCT may need to be done in conjunction with other therapies for optimal results.
Is WCT Recommended For Those Whose Broken Bones Have Been Repaired?
Yes, strong recommended.
Is WCT Safe For People On Anticoagulants (Blood-thinners)?
Yes!
Won’t People On Anticoagulants Bleed Non-Stop?
People on anticoagulants will not bleed non-stop since blood extracted will be extravascular. Blood from WCT stops at some point in spite of repeated suction.
Do Clients On Anticoagulants Need To Interrupt Their Anticoagulants Before Coming?
No, they shouldn’t interrupt their anticoagulants. Because anticoagulants work inside the blood vessels and cupping draws out blood from outside the blood vessels.
Would You Refuse Clients With Terminal Cancer?
Clients with a poor prognosis, such as terminal cancer or severe dementia, must provide an approval letter from their specialist doctor and a police warrant.
How Often Can One Area Of The Body Be Treated?
It’s advisable to wait at least one month before treating the same area again to avoid potential tissue scarring.
Can I Have WCT Multiples Times In A Given Week?
No. That would be excessive in my opinion and may cause anaemia. I always space out sessions.
Can I Have Multiple Sessions In A Given Day?
Extreme cases such as a diabetic limb scheduled for amputation in the next few days will definitely warrant multiples session in one given day.
What Other Cases May Compel Multiple Sessions In A Day?
Life-threatening cases such as terminal cancer or severe myocardial ischemia, where other options have been exhausted, could warrant this approach.
Does WCT Have An Analgesic Effect?
Yes, it provides a relaxing therapeutic effect, but it doesn’t render you unconscious or numb. It’s a safe, non-invasive way to ease tension and discomfort.
I Saw So Much Blood Come Out On Some Photos/Videos Online?
Don’t worry. It is blood that the client’s body has thrown out of the circulatory system that’s still inside of them. It’s of no value.
Both WCT And Senna Purge Sound Controversial?
Controversy is always there and it’s from controversy new ideas arise and science moves forward.
Why Would Someone Look Into Controversial Treatment?
You cannot blame someone with chronic illness trying to find a ‘fundamental cure’ in something controversial when all conventional means have failed.
Are You Affiliated With Lifeblood Australia?
No, but I do encourage those who are healthy and eligible to donate blood or plasma regularly.
Will You Add Something To The Blood Or Body During WCT?
No. Unlike in plasma/blood donation, nothing is added to your blood or body during WCT. Only toxic extravascular blood is drawn out.
Does Lifeblood Australia Test For Vascular Or Extra-Vascular Blood?
They check for the haemoglobin/ferritin levels of your ‘vascular blood’.
Should I Avoid WCT If I Have Congenital QT Syndrome or Brugada Syndrome?
No. The contraindications for blood and platelet donation do not apply to WCT. I will discuss your specific condition(s) during the consultation.
Am I Eligible For WCT If I Have Gastric Upset, Diarrhoea, Abdominal Pain Or Vomiting?
No. If you have active gastrointestinal issues, you should wait until your flare-up symptoms subside, as these conditions may affect the session.
Am I Eligible For WCT If I Have Chest Pain Or Angina?
Ye, WCT would be highly recommended. However, you need to disclose these on the consent form, and we will discuss them further during the consultation.
Am I Eligible For WCT If I Am On Medication?
Short answer, most probably yes. It depends. Do disclose any prescribed medications on the consent form, and I’ll review them during the consultation.
Am I Eligible For WCT If I Am Using Clinical Trial Medication, Regular Medications, Or Injectable Medications?
It depends, but probably yes. Do disclose all medications on the consent form, and we’ll discuss them during the consultation
Am I Eligible For WCT If I Am Under The Influence Of Drugs Or Alcohol?
Definitely come in when not under the influence. If under the influence, it’s best to wait for drug clearance, as everyone’s safety is a priority.
Can I Come In If I Am Under The Influence?
Clients and accompanying adults are required to have no illicit substances or alcohol in their system. This is to ensure everyone’s safety.
Does WCT Help With Addiction/Polyaddiction?
Wet cupping therapy is not intended to treat addiction or polyaddiction to drug(s) but may help indirectly. I recommend getting a session done nonetheless.
What To Do If I Am Suffering From Addiction/Polyaddiction?
Clients seeking assistance with addiction are encouraged to seek support from rehabilitation centres but definitely use WCT as a complementary therapy.
Do You Issue/Sell Medical Consummables Like Antiseptic Cream Or Oils?
No, I don’t sell these products. You’ll need to purchase them from a chemist or retailer as they are strongly recommended for aftercare.
Am I Eligible For WCT If I Have Been To A Detention Centre, Prison Or Court For Serious Convictions?
Yes. If these issues are in the past and you are now free, I am here to help you with your health needs.
What Is Your Policy On Violent Behaviour?
I do not tolerate violence. We maintain strict protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. Clients are expected to avoid harming others.
Does It Matter If I Have Been Overseas?
No, but do let me know during the consultation if you might have acquired any infections or diseases while overseas.
Does It Matter If Have Been Involved In Risky Sexual Activity?
WCT would be highly recommended if you have been engaged in such activities. I also encourage you to get tested for STIs.
Do I Need To Be Healthy And Well?
Unlike Lifeblood Australia’s requirements, you may actually need WCT if you’re unwell. Unless you have an airborne infectious disease, then please wait until fully recovered.
Do I Have To Inform You Of Side Effects From WCT I Got Done With Someone Else?
Yes. It’s important to discuss this during the consultation as it may uncover a health condition and determine your eligibility for a session.
Do I Qualify For A Session If I Have Had Dental Work Done, Cuts, Abrasions Or Undergone Surgery?
You may still qualify. WCT is not the same as blood donation. Don’t assume you’re ineligible. I’ll confirm your eligibility during the consultation.
Will It Matter If I Am To Engage In Heavy Work After WCT?
Yes, it does matter. As part of aftercare, I advise clients to avoid heavy or strenuous activity for 24 hours following treatment.
Do I Need To Eat Before Coming?
No. Avoid solid food for three hours before your session. You can have some fluids like water or apple juice, but it’s more important to stay well-hydrated before arrival.
Do I Need To Drink 750 mL Of Fluids In The 3 Hours Before Arrival?
That is not necessary. Unlike blood/plasma donation, WCT does not require such hydration beforehand.
Do You Check For Blood Haemoglobin/Ferritin Levels?
No, but do inform me if you are or were anaemic. The kind of anaemia you had needs to be discussed for eligibility.
Do You Conduct Blood Tests Etc?
No. I do not conduct laboratory blood tests. Nor do I send blood samples to third-party laboratories for testing.
Should I Provide You My Medical Report?
Yes, it’s helpful if you can share your medical report so I can impart the best advice.
Can I Get WCT If I have Any Of The Following: GSS Disease, CJ Disease, HTLV, Or Fatal Familial Syndrome?
These are contraindications for blood/plasma donation, NOT WCT. All are considered safe for treatment on a case-by-case basis.
I Have A Sexually Transmitted Disease (HIV, HPV etc)
I highly recommend you come in for a session which will help eliminate most of the viral loads down to a low undetectable level.
What Aspect Of WCT Reduces Viral Loads?
It’s serological clearance that achieves removal of causative pathological substances from the tissue serum, specifically viral particles in this case.
Do I Need Repeated Sessions Of WCT If I Have A Viral STD?
Yes. WCT does not permanently remove the viral particles. The viral load levels start rising again after a few months have passed.
Can WCT Draw Out Venom?
Theoretically, residual venom molecules that have functionally obliged to extravascular blood cells can be extracted. But ring 000 if ever bit or stung!
Should I Come To You If I Am Bit/Stung By A Venomous Animal/Plant?
The right response to a venomous bite or sting from plant or animal is to ring 000 and get hospital treatment, i.e., anti-venom injections.
Can I Try WCT After Getting Anti-Venom Treatment?
Yes, most definitely. Especially if residual venom molecules, antibody complexes and inflammatory mediators are functionally obliged to your extravascular blood cells.
Are The Effects Of This Therapy Just Placebo?
They cannot be placebo because the removal of removal of toxic dark quick-to-clot blood is apparent as the reason behind immense and oft-reported benefits.
Is Wet Cupping Therapy (WCT) Scientifically Proven?

Not quite. Leech therapy can in no way remove the amount of static extravascular blood and toxins as are removed by WCT.
What Are The Cons Of Using Leeches?
Leeches might regurgitate their blood meal on to the bite site of the host, which can cause an infection due to the bacteria in it.
Is The Blood Removed During Wet Cupping Therapy The Same As During Blood Donation?
No. The blood extracted from wet cupping therapy is extra-vascular and the blood drawn during blood donation is vascular.
What Is The Difference Between Vascular & Extravascular?
Vascular means within the circulatory system i.e. blood vessels whilst extra-vascular means outside the circulatory system e.g. within the tissues in the interstitial fluid.

What To Mention During The Blood Donation Interview After Getting WCT Done?
You will have to mention during your blood donation interview that new and sterile cups and blade were used during your wet cupping treatment.
Is Donating Blood Better Before Or After WCT?
Vascular blood quality improves after WCT due to removal of spherocytes from the vascular system (circulatory clearance). So donating blood after WCT is better.
I Don’t Want To Wait to donate blood?
Vascular blood quality improves after WCT due to removal of spherocytes from the vascular system. So donating blood after WCT is better.
Can Wet Cupping Blood Be Donated?
Blood removed during wet cupping therapy is toxic and cannot be donated. It is always discarded appropriately.

How Much Blood Usually Comes Out?
In my experience it tends to be usually between 10 to 100 mL. But it can be as much as 600 mL.
How Much Blood Will Be Removed?
The amount of blood removed is not pre-defined like it is during blood donation, rather it varies.
How Much Is It Compared To Blood Removed During Blood Donation?
The volume of removed (cupped) extra-vascular blood is way less than the ~470 mL extracted during blood donation by Lifeblood Australia.
Will You Charge Less If There Is Minimal Blood-Let-Out?
The agreed fee does not change regardless of how much blood is let out. I do not guarantee how much blood will be drawn out.
How Can I Ensure My Results Will Be Optimal?
It depends, as long as you follow my before-treatment instructions and others, your results would be optimal.
What Are Optimal Results?
In all honesty, as long as there was moderate to significant blood-let-out, the result would be deemed optimal.
What Are Significant Results?
Significant blood-let-out and the palpable reduction in morbidity, pain and disease is in my opinion accounts for significant results.
Is WCT Blood The Same As Donated Blood?
Blood derived from wet cupping therapy is extra-vascular. Blood derived from blood donation is vascular.
Give One Proof WCT Blood Is Extravascular?
During wet cupping therapy, only a certain amount of blood comes out. Then it stops exiting altogether. If it were vascular, it would keep flowing.
Does My Blood Type Matter?
Not for WCT eligibility. It does matter when receiving a blood transfusion at the hospital and when donating blood at Lifeblood Australia.
Do You Need A Blood Transfusion After WCT?
No, as the amount of blood removed during WCT is minimal and not part of the body’s circulatory system.
